We've Got To Save The Cheetahs!!

When Natalie learned that cheetahs were endangered she immediately said, “MOM!!! We HAVE to help them!!! WE’VE GOT TO SAVE THE CHEETAHS!!” She assumed we would go to them, since they were “in-dangered” and save them from the danger by bringing them to our home where we could keep them safe from danger. They would be out of danger, not “in-dangered.”

I WANT TO KNOW MORE about cheetahs!

We obviously needed to brainstorm some more about ways we could save the cheetahs from danger. I did some research and found the Cheetah Conservation Fund. I compared this organization to other options and hands down, Dr. Laurie Marker and her work seemed to be the best mission to support.

We are bringing awareness and attention to the dire situation these beautiful animals are in. The species is near extinction. The most recent estimate is that there are only 6,800 cheetahs living in the wild today. Without urgent action and support there is a good chance that, by the time Natalie has a daughter, there will be no cheetahs.

I WANT TO SAVE THE CHEETAHS TOO!

International Cheetah Day is December 4. Last year we celebrated and helped raise awareness by painting our faces like cheetahs and spending the whole day like that.
